I’m in charge of branding & design for both product & marketing. This includes all of the UX/UI for the product as well as the design for the marketing website, emails, and ads. I lead the team in collecting & analyzing feedback from customers, strategizing and creating a product road map, and executing the tasks we created within the time frame we set. I also act as a design consultant for our partner products.

A large part of my job was to pre-visualize (PreVIZ) ideas just as a project began. We worked across the organization to define problems, explore opportunities and visualize the future as we pushed design culture forward at eBay. We used design, video, motion graphics, and photography to help solve problems and tell great stories.

Hi, I’m Cody. I’m a designer, problem solver, and storyteller. For the last 9 years I’ve had the opportunity to work on some exciting projects with incredibly talented people. I work hard and enjoy solving problems. I love learning new skills and I’m passionate about making a difference in the world. I’m organized, intentional and consistent in the way I work and live. I believe design is powerful. It’s a perspective, a way of thinking, and a culture. My design process always starts with people and empathy in order to understand the right problem. I am blessed to be able to do what I love for a living, and I look forward to what’s ahead.
My wife and I live in Bend, OR. We have a newborn baby girl and we’re currently in the process of adopting. We love being active – mountain biking, snowboarding, playing basketball, and working out. But we also love to relax, play board games, watch movies, and have a drink with friends. Our life has been an awesome adventure together, and we’re so grateful for it.
